May I introduce you to a long-disputed mystery. A mystery woven throughout time, etched with intrigue and romance. A mystery buried deep in life, causing greatness to flourish and yet utter destruction to prevail. This mystery is found in knowing or not knowing the Truth, with rewards received and consequences that destroy. It's a mystery of Truth doing battle with Untruths.
In some way or another, each person wants, OK! Demands to know Truth. But there's a dilemma. This dilemma is to know Truth as Truth and Untruths as Untruths. This perplexity is experienced in “Living Truth, Where We're Living!”
Yes, I know, we each have our own idea of Truth and what Truth looks like. Yet, once Truth is understood, what each does with Truth depends on the person, their disposition, their situation, and the circumstances they find themselves in.
Right now, a lot is floating around that's called Truth. Yet, it's only a blushing of Truth. Because of these red-faced truths, we've inherited an innate ability to doubt. To question the honesty of information and the ones giving it.
We also question information coming from all aspects of life. Science says if it's been proven, it's true, then it's deemed not true. The medical field says this is true, and it isn't. The church says certain things are true; we find it's mere folk theology or manipulated facts with little substance or Truth. Governments give information deemed accurate, yet it's false. Families claim something's true, and we find it isn't. Canadian law searches for Truth, yet Truth is ignored. Likewise, gangs have their truths, and they struggle to enforce them. You see, it seems all have failed to deliver Truth.
We live in this mystery, attempting to know the Truth and trying desperately to discover Untruths to maximize good and limit disasters.
To help discover Truth, the examination of both Truth and Untruths is needed. No! It's not a set of rules and mega lists of regulations we're comparing or measuring against. But instead, it's looking at the characters of Truth and Untruths.
To understand these characters, there are parables to reflect on. These parables are not in full detail, but rather, an overview for discovering the mystery of Truth in battle with Untruths.
Here's the challenge in this mystery: these parables and the characters they reveal need investigating. There must be a probing examination of Truth to fully know Truth and Untruths to fully know Untruths. It's an enquiry that requires in-depth deduction to reveal Truth and Untruths about who and what they are.
Here are some parables for your consideration in discovering Truth as Truth really is.
They may not be what's perceived!
